The Role
The role is to undertake mine design, planning and scheduling to meet our client’s needs. The position requires good communication and interaction within the Optiro team and with all external parties contributing to a certain project. The role will suit an engineer who has operational experience and confidence in their planning and analysis capabilities who is seeking a Perth Based role, wanting to gain wide exposure to mining engineering tasks and looking to improve their technical skills by being mentored by an experience group of mining engineers. The role is Perth based.
Your Contribution
You will have a degree in mining engineering with 2 – 6 years experience and be proficient in at least one mine design and scheduling package, experience with Datamine / Mine 24D would be advantageous. You will need good analytical and proficient report writing skills.
Our Contribution
Remuneration is industry based with the final value appropriate to your experience. Hours are generally regular office hours but may require some adjustment to meet the needs of specific projects. You will be supported by a peer group of seasoned industry professionals.
